Texas Holdem Bonus Poker

Powered by Live Casino titan Evolution, Texas Holdem Bonus Poker is inspired by the US favourite card game of poker but with one or two notable variations in the gameplay.

The main difference sees players compete against the casino/house, rather than one another in Evolution’s version. Furthermore, Texas Holdem Bonus Poker offers no river bet after the fifth and final card has been dealt, unlike traditional poker.

Adding to the excitement, Evolution has thrown in a neat twist which allows you to supersize your winnings by betting on a ‘Bonus’ side bet. All this and more is explained in detail below.

Rules

Played with a standard 52-card shoe, all players at a virtual Texas Holdem Bonus Poker table play out the very same hand against the dealer. The goal is to hold a superior hand to that of the dealer once all cards are out - just like in regular poker but without all the bluffing and re-bluffing that often characterises the game.

Texas Holdem Bonus Poker accommodates low stakes players through to high rollers, offering stakes from €0,50 all the way up to €500.

Place your desired wager amount in the ‘Ante’ box to begin the game. You then receive two initial ‘hole’ cards face down, which can choose to fold and play no further part in the hand, or continue with. Should you elect to continue, you need to place a bet equivalent to 2x your initial Ante bet in the relevant box.

After this, five exposed ‘community cards’ are dealt, to be shared by both you and the dealer. Here your options are to either check, committing no further money into the hand at his point, or bet the same amount as the Ante.

There then follows a fourth ‘Turn’ card, which presents one final chance to back your hand by wagering the equivalent of 1x your Ante bet, before the very last ‘River’ card is dealt.

Now both you and the dealer look to make your best possible five-card hand from a combination of your respective two hole cards plus the five community cards spread out. Note that you can use none, one, or all of your hole cards to form your best holding.

Should you possess a superior holding to the dealer, you receive an even-money payout on all Flop, Turn and River bets. Your Ante paid is paid out only if you hold a Straight or better. Otherwise, this bet is ‘pushed’.

If the dealer holds a stronger hand than you, you forfeit all bets except the Bonus Bet, which is honoured on meeting the minimum criteria (more details below).

Whenever both you and the dealer share a hand of equal value, the dealer is declared the winner and collects all bets.

Bonus Bet

Not found in classic forms of poker, the Texas Holdem Bonus Poker Bonus Bet represents a ‘side bet’ where players bet on the outcome of their starting hold comprised of two cards only. Should the player receive two cards containing A-J, A-Q, A-K or any pair, they receive a payout on their Bonus Bet - regardless of the eventual run-out of the hand.

Live Casino

Merging traditional casino play with modern technology, state-of-the-art casino software adopted by Evolution has made it possible for players to enjoy an all-time table classic from anywhere and at any any time.

All Texas Holdem Bonus Poker games are presented in super slick fashion by a professionally trained dealer, featuring crisp, clear graphics and immersive audio that you are likely to find in any land-based casino environment.

There’s even the possibility to chat to your croupier, adding to the authenticity and heightening the overall experience for casino lovers.
