Sumo Spins

Sumo Spins is a 5-reel, 4-row, 40-pay line video slot featuring Nudge Reels, the Power Roll, Repins, and the Sumo Showdown.

Nudge Reels

When the Red Rikishi character lands on the playing area, he will stomp the reels and move them down to create one or more winning pay lines.

Power Roll

This feature is triggered when the Blue Rikishi appears over the reels. This character will fly horizontally across the screen through two rows of symbols. What remains are two rows of identical symbols that rotate until finally stopping on one symbol. A minimum of three, 5-reel pay lines are won when this feature activates.

Respins

The Green Rikishi awards respins when it falls in the playing area. During respins, the lower-value playing card symbols (clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades) are removed from the reels.

The number of respins won is random and corresponds to the number of times the Green Nikishi jumps on the reels. If the Green Nikishi does not appear after a respin, this feature ends and the player is then charged normal spins.

Sumo Spins Showdown

When 2 or 3 Rikishi characters land on the reels during any single spin, the Sumo Showdown feature is activated. The player picks one of the Rikishi characters to serve as their sumo wrestler. The two characters then stomp on the reels adding one spin each time to reveal a random number of Sumo Showdown free spins.

The characters will battle it until a winner is declared. If all three Nikishi characters land on the reels, the Red and Blue Nikishi will team up against the Green Nikishi. If the player’s selected character(s) win the sumo round before a spin, each winning character is transformed into Wild symbols for the that spin.
