Masquerade

Masquerade is a 20-pay line video slot featuring staggered reels, wins anywhere on a pay line, the Golden Masque mystery symbol, and a Royal Masque mega symbol.

Gameplay

The playing area in Masquerade looks a bit different than most other video slots. Reels 1 & 5 have two rows, reels 2 & 4 have three rows, and reel 3 has four rows.

Wins in Masquerade are paid from both ways. This bidirectional gameplay means that Wild symbols in any column have an equal chance at generating winning pay lines. Also, 5-reel combinations receive a 2x multiplier as these wins are calculated from both directions.

In addition, wins can be made in the centre three reels. Masquerade does not require pay lines to begin from an outer reel. A winning combination counts anywhere it occurs along a pay line.

Golden Masque Mystery Symbols

During any spin, one or more reels may illuminate and deposit Golden Masque symbols onto the reels. When the reels stop, Golden Masque symbols will rotate to reveal a symbol. There is no guaranteed win when these appear, but the Golden Masque can be the difference between a no-win situation and a massive payday.

Royal Masque Symbol

At random, a Mega Royal Masque symbol may appear on the playing area. This symbol will cover the centre 3 reels and transform into 10 individual Golden Masque mystery symbols. If there are matching symbols in reels 1 & 5, sit back for a moment and relax as this gigantic win is tallied up. Because this mega symbol covers three reels, the win along any pay line feature in Masquerade means that this symbol guarantees multiple wins each time it appears in this game.
